James C. Fitchett Mr. Fitchett co-founded ProVentive in 2004 with Craig Johnson. He has been a leader in healthcare since he served as the first chief information officer for Harvard Medical School. Mr. Fitchett was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Impact Group, a technology strategy firm. He joined Ernst & Young LLP, where he was a Partner and the national leader for knowledge management in health care. He was a founder, Vice Chairman and Chief Technology Officer for RecoveryCare, Inc. an Internet healthcare company offering patient education and secure patient-provider communications (acquired by Medtronic, Inc.). Mr. Fitchett also served as Vice President for Administration for St. Lawrence University, where he led planning, information technology, marketing, and human resources. Since 1993, Mr. Fitchett has been a part- time faculty member at Harvard University, where he teaches a graduate course in management. Mr. Fitchett holds an M.A. in government from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University and an A.B. in political science from the American University in Washington, D.C. He is a former Trustee and Chairman of the Board of the Boston Society for Information Management. Mr. Fitchett often speaks at national conferences and has published in health care journals and texts. Back to Team Craig Johnson Mr. Johnson co-founded ProVentive in 2004 with Jim Fitchett and brings more than twenty years of technology innovation experience in government and private-sector healthcare. After working for NASA/JPL's Deep Spacecraft Network developing artificial intelligence and mathematical programming systems, he migrated to healthcare where he has held senior and executive IT positions in hospital and payer organizations as well as led several large initiatives for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. As Chief Information Officer at Neighborhood Health Plan, he pioneered the use of CRM softare to improve member service, provider relations and care management receiving CIO Magazine's CIO100 award for innovation in CRM. He now leads ProVentive's product development and delivery. Mr. Johnson holds an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Mathematics from Middlebury College. He is a former member of Massachusetts Health Data Consortium's Board of Directors and served as Co-chair of the CIO Forum. Back to Team Annette Hanson, MD/MBA Dr. Hanson is a nationally recognized clinician, executive and scholar of clinical outcome measures and cost- benefit of new treatments, poly- pharmacy and pharmaceutical benefits. She has published and lectured widely on these topics. Dr. Hanson served until 2003 as Medical Director of MassHealth, the Medicaid agency in Massachusetts serving one million members with a clinical budget over $4 billion. In that role, Dr. Hanson was the Chief Clinical Officer involved in all aspects of the agency's healthcare policy development and implementation, program development, clinical oversight and quality management projects. She was also responsible for the pharmacy program, utilization review, program integrity and the prior authorization programs within the Division. Prior to her appointment at MassHealth, Dr. Hanson held positions in academic and private health care systems as well as serving as Deputy Commissioner of Clinical and Professional Services at the Department of Mental Health in Massachusetts. Dr. Hanson received her undergraduate and medical education in Minnesota, her training in psychiatry at The Cambridge Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and her MBA in the Executive MBA Program at Northeastern University in Boston. She is Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. She is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts. Back to Team Saeed Aminzadeh Mr. Aminzadeh leads ProVentive's sales and marketing efforts and is responsible for expanding ProVentive’s client base and leading ProVentive’s customer outreach initiatives. Mr. Aminzadeh has more than 20 years of health information technology experience, with a demonstrated track record of building highly-productive sales organizations, and helping healthcare organizations solve complex business problems. He has developed and executed effective national sales and marketing strategies, using direct sales as well as channel and partnership relationships. Prior to ProVentive, Mr. Aminzadeh led the sales and marketing efforts for IHCIS from 2001 to 2005, and remained with Ingenix as Senior Vice President of Solution Sales through 2006 following its acquisition of IHCIS. His professional experience also includes key management positions with Solucient, LLC (now Thomson Healthcare), and Health Payment Review, Inc (now McKesson Corporation). Mr. Aminzadeh is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University. Back to Team George "Russ" Moran Mr. Moran has more than 30 years leadership experience in the health care industry, concentrating on Network Strategy, Management of Provider Contracting, Services, Operations and Information Systems. Mr. Moran served as Executive Vice President for Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS), a national Network Management Company serving over 300 customers with six million covered enrollees. He was responsible for all provider contracting, including direct oversight of 12 field offices, as well as Corporate support departments with over 200 employees. Russ initiated and completed the reorganization of Network Services to include national contracting functions. He initiated and implemented best practices and corporate expertise for local contractors in reimbursement methodologies and other specialized areas. Prior to PHCS, Mr. Moran served as Executive Vice President for Tufts Health Plan. Tufts Health Plan is a nationally- recognized MCO in the Boston market. Russ began as a Marketing Manager, was promoted successively to Vice President of Health Systems Management, Senior Vice President, and then Executive Vice President, responsible for all operational, provider contracting, customer service delivery and information technology for Tufts Health Plan. Mr. Moran served as the first Executive Director/CEO of Elder Services of Merrimack Valley. He was responsible for the initial establishment as well as directing all the ongoing operations for a community-based program for Health and Social Services to Elders, an organization with an $8 million operating budget. Mr. Moran also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Northeastern University, has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Gerontology, Public Policy, and Management of Community Organizations for Merrimack College, the University of Lowell and New Hampshire College. He has served as Board Member and Chairman of the Planning Board for the Town of Andover. He has also served as a Business Advisor to W3Health, Inc. Mr. Moran holds degrees from St. Anselm College and the University of New Hampshire. Back to Team Atilla Habip Atilla Habip has a distinguished career as a consultant and senior executive serving a variety of industries. He currently specializes in healthcare and high tech, combining substantial management consulting and hands-on leadership experience. He leads ProVentive's professional services, providing strategic advise, process improvement, leadership development, organizational design, and information technology strategies. For instance, a recent project was a large-scale process improvement effort for the intake and eligibility processes of a $6 billion Medicaid program. Mr. Habip served as CEO for CitizensHealth, a start-up launched in 2001 by Citizens Energy Corporation and its Chairman, former Congressman Joe Kennedy. At CitizensHealth, Mr. Habip negotiated contracts with major pharmacy benefit managers and several large pharmaceuticals to create a best of-breed Rx discount card. He developed a grass-roots marketing channel of 3,000 community partners in New England, supported with TV and radio ads. Membership grew to 25,000. Mr. Habip was with Bain & Company for 7 years, serving clients in the US and Europe. Those clients included major pharmaceuticals, health plans, biotech companies, medical device companies and healthcare start-ups. He also had a fast-track management career with International Paper, where in his last position he served as Plant Manager of Framingham Liquid Packaging facilility. Mr. Habip received his BS in Industrial Engineering and his MBA in Finance & International Business from Columbia University.
